Everywhere I go at the moment I’m hearing someone say they are doing ‘Dry July’. Not my style but if this is you – go you good thing! It’s also winter here and I’m not sure about you but I’d love some ‘dry’, be it dry weather, dry lawns, or dry humour.
The talk in the salon is our latest product that is a ‘Dry’ shampoo, called Fresh Affair from Kerastase…
So what actually IS a dry shampoo?
It’s a miracle in a can to be honest because depending on how you use it can add volume to your hair, it reduces or eliminates excess oil at the scalp,- giving you an extra day without washing your hair. It also refreshes and leaves your hair smelling fabulicious.
There are many on the market at the moment however I want to share our wee gem with you!
Fresh Affair by Kerastase
This is a refreshing Dry Shampoo, with 24 hour long lasting fragrance. By sectioning your hair in 4cm sections and spraying directly on the roots holding the can approximately 15cm from your head.
The product will absorb any excess oil on the roots and as your brush that through it refreshes your hair at the same time without weighing it down.
Why is this product so good?
It’s formulated with Vitamin E and rice starch it adds volume and dare I say bulks the hair out by simply spraying a liberal amount evenly through your hair. Lean your hair to the side and spray up into your hair or flip your head down and spray up into it that way. This product allows for you to use it multiple times so Bad Hair days be gone!
The magic of Vitamin E is a nutrient with protective properties, which also prevents hair and scalp from drying out and with the fragrance of glossy neroli you can have fresh smelling hair all day. When you freshen up your hair, you’re in for an uplifting olfactory experience that stays with you throughout the day as you move and continuously release the fragrance into the air.
There are many dry shampoos on the market today however we believe and recommend Kerastase as our product of choice.
