Kate Cox – Owner/Creative Director

FULLY QUALIFIED – OVER 25 YEARS EXPERIENCE

I have been in the hairdressing industry for over 25 years. I love the relationships and rapport’s I have with my guests. Connection and the feeling of belonging is really important to me and that ALL of Bijonei guests feel part of our family. I love our amazing team we have, everyone brings their own uniqueness to Bijonei and because of this we can cater to all your needs and together we achieve awesome things! As much as I still thrive being on the tools and making my guests feel and look amazing my real passion is education for the team – always upskilling and improving ourselves is paramount to me and being able to support and help my team grow is my new pathway!

Robbie – Team/Marketing Manager

With over 45 years in this glorious industry, I’ve worn many hats, including working in the UK, being a salon owner, a sales representative for over a decade, NZQA/HITO assessor and more recently as a business mentor both here and in Australia.

I love everything about our industry, the people who choose to work in it and of course you.

Whilst I’m no longer on the tools, my passion for hairdressing and my desire to help future generations of hairdressers with the variety of skills I have ensures your Bijonei experience is 2 nd to none.

Kate and I work closely together, with the ability to ease the day to day running of the salon, ensuring the team grows and you our guest, has the ultimate Bijonei experience.

Susan – Master Stylist

OVER 25 YEARS EXPERIENCE

I find joy in transforming someone’s look and boosting their confidence. There is a sense of satisfaction in seeing a client happy with their hair. I love expressing my creativity from subtle tweaks to bold makeovers. Every snip, colour and style is a change to make a difference in someone’s day and that’s my favourite aspect of hairstyling/dressing. I love spending time with my family and walking my dog.

Deanna – Master stylist

OVER 20 YEARS EXPERIENCE

Hi I’m Deanna, I have been in the hairdressing industry for 20years and after having a wee break raising my kids I’m back making you look and feel amazing. I really enjoy all aspects of hairdressing even more so when you put your trust in me and we nail your look together. I like to keep up with trends whether they be through education or even through social media. When I’m not at work I’m taking my kids to all of the hobbies that they love to do and supporting my husband in his business. Being my family’s biggest cheerleader is the greatest feeling.

Natalie – International Master Stylist and Educator

I originate from Palmerston North and have just returned from over a decade of styling and educating in Edinburgh in the UK.

I have a wealth of experience, knowledge and I specializes in many aspects of our craft. I am looking forward to getting back on the tools after having children and look forward to meeting you all and maybe even some of you that I have looked after before!

Becca – Emerging Stylist

I have spent my life growing up within the Manawatu district and have completed my first year of hairdressing at Ucol here in Palmerston North, now entering my second year of my apprenticeship. I have a passion for transformational colour and enjoying the new skills I am learning. I look forward to meeting you all when you are next in.

Here at Bijonei Hair Design, we strive to provide you with an environment where you can relax, get pampered and experience the best in hairdressing services.

Leave all your tension at the door – come and settle in with a complimentary beverage and the latest of magazines.

Our hassle free parking allows you to arrive on time and park (almost right outside the door) without the stress of finding change for parking meters or their time limits.

I think that the most important thing a woman can have – next to talent, of course – is her hairdresser.

Our cancellation policy

Your time is precious as is ours, so we would really appreciate that you arrive on time or no later than 10 mins for your appointment.  If you are unable to attend your appointment a minimum of 24 hours’ notice is valued otherwise a 25% cancellation fee will be applied and if you do not turn up to your appointment with no notification a 50% no show fee will apply.
